Elden Ring Nightreign has caused a stir since its reveal at The Game Awards, and for good reason. It’s the first dedicated multiplayer title by FromSoftware, with up to three players teaming up to survive three nights and take down the Nightlord. Of course, you can go solo if desired.
Unfortunately, playing alongside a single partner isn’t possible. Game director Junya Ishizaki told IGNFree Bonus on Registration that Nightreign is “either one-player or three-player.” While the experience is designed explicitly for the latter, enemy health will still scale based on the number of players, much like Elden Ring.
